Paying Your Rent
How To Pay Your Rent

There are numerous ways of paying your rent.

By Standing order through your bank

Application forms are available at the Office. Your bank will need your rent account number and also GHA's bank details.

GHA Telephone Payments Service

To pay your account by telephone using Debit or Credit cards simply phone GHA's free phone line on 0800 479 7979. This line is available 7 days a week 8am til 8pm.

Call In Person to pay by Cash/Cheque/Debit Card at Granite House.

If you want to pay your account in person, you can still use the cash collection facility at GHA's city centre office at Granite House, 177 Trongate Glasgow, which will remain open. The office opening hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

Cheque or Postal Order Payments

You can continue to send cheques or postal orders to GHA's Central Office at: Granite House, 177 Trongate, GLASGOW G1 5HF

All cheques or postal orders should clearly identify your rent account number and made payable to: The Glasgow Housing Association Limited.

Or you can pay by the following methods in your local area.

Post Office

You can pay this way by simply using your GHA rent payment card and this service is FREE when you use your card. If you have lost you rent payment card, contact us on 0141 274 7065 and we will order you a replacement card. Please note that you can only use your GHA rent payment card and not any old G.C.C cards, as they will not be accepted.

* Please note that payments made in the Post Office take a minimum of 3 days to reach your rent account

PayPoint Facility

The PayPoint scheme allows GHA tenants to make rent payments using GHA rent payment card at local shops. Over 150 shops across the city have PayPoint facilities. Below are lists of your nearest shops with this facility.

If you are paying your rent using the Post Office or PayPoint facility please make sure that you pay the correct amount before the dates displayed in the table above to ensure your payment reaches us in time. Any payments received after these dates will be seen as a late payment.
